Cormorant Fisherman of Yangshuo

Cormorant Fisherman of Yangshuo

from 109.00

Shot in Yangshuo, China.

These birds are called Cormorant, they belong to this friendly 86-year-old fisherman named Lao Huang. Cormorant fishing is a traditional fishing method in which fishermen use trained cormorants to fish in rivers, but sadly the thirteen-hundred-year-old fishing method, now only survives as a tourist attraction in modern days.

Each print comes with a serialised authenticity card, hand-signed by Peter Yan.
