Shot in Barcelona, Spain

Travel can be chaotic. As a photographer who travels with more gear than he knows what to do with it, I know it better than most. Airports. Planes. Streets. Crowds. Lines. Loudness. But every so often, and more if you’re lucky, you find yourself with the chance to rise above it all, to take in how fortunate we all are, to breathe. Maybe it’s a great meal, maybe it’s a great night. For me, getting to sneak out one morning to see Barcelona as I’d never seen it before, with the Sagrada Familia at the heart of a city that’s known for its heart... is a memory I cherish as much as any other.

"I was able to capture the breathtaking views of the city's skyline, with its iconic landmarks like the Sagrada Familia and the Torre Agbar rising up into the sky. The colours of the city seemed to come to life as the sun began to rise, casting a golden glow over the buildings and streets below."
